• Military Service: Armed Forces Expedition, 1958, Ping Tung, , Formosa. Served as a Marine Sergeant in an expedition to discourage the Peoples Republic of China from invading Tiwan. There were some artillery and air engagements. Several Chinese planes were shot down using Sidewinder Heat Seeking Missiles.
