  General Notes:

Ray was evidently a man of poor character. He is suspected of marring Annie for her money and was despised by most of the family.
He finally left after being clubbed in the head by his young step grandson Alvin Hoppes, with an ax handle. (source; Alvin Hoppes)
Alvin thought he had killed him and hopped a freight train and took off for awhile. Evidently Ray got the message Annie gave Harmon $2000.00 and one of her 2 cars in c1933 to leave. As far as can be determined he was never heard from again.
