Born in Kentucky John moved his wife Mary Jane Roark to Kansas. Mary Jane died about 1862. After the death of Mary 2 of their children moved back to Kentucky. Their only daughter Emily Jane would remain in Kansas. John later married Julia Ann.
John lived in District 1, Breathitt, Kentucky in 1850.
Evidently Joseph William, the oldest son, moved back to Morris County Kansas, married and raised a family near Parkerville, KS.
